Position: Senior Software Developer

Location: Turkey (100% work from home) 

Travel: 0%

Shift: Daytime working hours in Turkey, sometimes extending into evening hours in order to overlap with the team in the US.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our 100% remote team in Turkey. 

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement apps using Go or other required technologies.

• Work with a senior developer to develop and implement complex features and functionalities, ensuring high performance, responsiveness, and scalability.

• Review and influence ongoing design, architecture, standards and methods for operating services and systems.

• Prioritize maintainable and well-tested code.

• Be active in code reviews and discussions to learn, share knowledge, and improve code quality across the codebase.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5 years of experience with one or more server-side languages such as Go, Java, C . 

• Some Go programming experience is essential. 

• Experience building containers. 

• Kubernetes knowledge / core concepts structures (ops experience is a plus)

• Experience with one of the major clouds: AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Willing to learn niche topics (HPC in the cloud)

• Experience with TDD and writing unit tests 

• Comfortable developing for/in a unix environment.

• Experience in using version control systems (e.g., Git), Jira and CI/CD tools

• Able to understand complex architecture, and able to see the big picture.

• Self-disciplined, self-starting, and hard-working; able to work with a team scattered around the globe, able to work in flexible schedules.

• Intermediate level in spoken and written English.
